My Role: Image Editing
The Brief: Combine a photo taken in 1920 with another photo taken by the photographer in 2020.
I worked with a photographer who had found a vintage photo from 1920. He located the location the photo was taken from and took another photo in 2020. I made small adjustments to correct for the slight differences in overlap that occur naturally from different lenses, while still keeping true to what existed and exists. The vintage image was sepia and I chose to make the modern image a silvery blue so the viewer can more easily differentiate old from new. I kept a soft yet precise fade to ensure that nothing was jarring and it read easily as one image.

Branding Update

My Role: Image Editing
The Brief: Update the logo and details on the trailer to align with new branding.
To allow for continued use of photos after a logo change, I photoshopped out the old logo and pinstriping and added in the new logo and moved the safety tape. You can see the changes as the slider moves.

Trailer Cutout
Client: Big Tex Trailers
My Role: Image Editing
The Brief: Clip out the product for use on a variety of backgrounds and create a shadow.
I have years of experience using the pen tool to precisely cut out detailed products. To improve efficiency, the grate on this one was replaced using a custom brush and modified to fit. I take care to remove any color cast from neutrals and to clean up any blemishes.

The Brief: Create a social media image for a Halloween post.
Briefs like this are some of my favorites. I always have so much fun creating themed images. I started with a stock photo of pumpkins and used the company logo to imitate a carved jack-o-lantern look.

Video Editing
Client: UX/UI Bootcamp Project
My Role: Video Editing, Storyline, Script
The Brief: Combine video walkthrough of website with audio recording of voiceover.
I worked with a teammate to create a storyline and script to showcase our website. I screen recorded the video and we both recorded the audio. I pieced the best of multiple takes together ensuring smooth transitions and correct timing.
